NeevStep is a learning app for students of Classes 6 to 10, with its own lessons, practice and tests for every NCERT chapter. This page is the source of truth for anything carrying the NeevStep name.
Half a class has forgotten last year's basics, and every new chapter stands on them. NeevStep does not send the child back a class. It teaches the chapter step by step, and when a step needs an older idea, it rebuilds that idea right there.
The foundation. The older idea a step depends on — ratio inside Trigonometry, angles inside Quadrilaterals. The violet blocks at the bottom of the logo.

That is what every student should feel on every screen. Violet gives them something steady to stand on; sunshine marks each step they climb.
Designed for the 11-year-old and the 16-year-old at once: bright and warm, never babyish. No cartoon mascots, no baby pastels, no corporate grey.

Violet + Sunshine. Violet is smart and steady and belongs to no other school brand around us; Sunshine is the reward — every "Continue", streak and star. Mint and Coral only ever mean right and not-yet. Click a code to copy it.

Each kind of content keeps one colour everywhere — lesson, chapter card, report and printed paper.
Eight core subjects for every student, Classes 6 to 10. Colours are only for subject tiles, book covers and slide headers — never to show a status. All pass AA with white text.
Not part of the core plan. A school turns them on per student, for an extra payment.
One font does almost everything. Lexend was designed to make reading easier for young and struggling readers — exactly the child NeevStep is for. Lessons are written in Roman script; Devanagari appears only inside the Hindi and Sanskrit subjects, set in Baloo 2.
A NeevStep lesson sounds like a good teacher from Jaipur or Lucknow talking to one student — not like a textbook. Simple English carries the idea; a little everyday Hinglish carries the conversation. If simple English can say it, we say it in simple English.
Ratio yaad hai? Quick recap. Divide one length by another — that's a ratio. 6 cm and 3 cm? 6 ÷ 3 = 2. Bas, ho gaya.
Ab dekho. Take a right triangle and pick one angle, θ. The side facing it is the opposite. The side next to it is the adjacent.
tan θ = opposite ÷ adjacent. Itna hi hai — nothing more.
Opposite is 9 m, adjacent is also 9 m. So tan θ = ?
81? Arre, close! You multiplied. Divide karke dekho — 9 ÷ 9.
Ekdum sahi! Both sides equal, so tan θ = 1.

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants synthesise their food in the presence of sunlight.
Plants make their own food. Kaise? Sunlight, water and air — bas, teen cheezein. This is called photosynthesis.

Leaves are the kitchen of the plant. Socho — why are most leaves green and flat?
Class 6 is one step, Class 10 is five. Use it for class pickers and certificates — the top block is always Sunshine.
Bright, rounded and tappable — built for a thumb on a phone and a finger on a smart board. Buttons press down like keys. Radius 10 for small controls, 18 for cards, 24 for panels. No gradients.
Sunshine is the one button that moves the student forward. Violet for everything else that is important. One Sunshine button per screen.
One family: Lucide (open-source line icons), 2 px stroke, round caps, 24 px grid — Violet or Night on light, white on Violet. The stair icon is ours for "progress". No emoji in the app or in lessons.
An elder sibling who is good at studies, talking the way people talk in North India: warm, quick, on your side. Simple English with a little Hinglish. Praise the effort, name the next step. Never make a student feel behind, and never shout.
